The famous torch, made of aircraft aluminum, is now featuring a modern LED. A big advantage of this is that the light output is now significantly higher than with the original torches. Additionally, the LED is a lot more economical with energy, which results in a longer burn time. What remains is the well known design, the adjustable focus of the beam and the waterproof body. The switch, too, feels as familiar as ever.
The Maglite ML100 has several different settings. By choosing one of the four feature sets, the user can personally choose what the light output in the different light modes will be. For example, you can choose a strobe mode, an SOS-mode, a maximum light output or an energy saving mode.
In the energy saving mode, the ML100 can give light up to 78 hours.
